Romney's Kendal Mint Cake

Crafted on the edge of the Lake District for over a century, George Romney Ltd is a fourth-generation family business with a proud tradition of sweet-making. First created in 1918 by Sam T. Clarke, our famous Kendal Mint Cake is still made using time-honoured methods and original recipes. Famously carried on the first successful ascent of Everest, it’s a true taste of history. Today, we continue to produce our signature mint cake, rich fudges, and treacle toffee — all lovingly made in Kendal.

We’ve handpicked 12 flavours that reflect this quality — 8 of them are award-winners, like Raspberry Pavlova, Thunder & Lightning, and the famous Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding.
